Released in 1994, New Nightmare marks the second comeback of Wes Craven. The film concentrates on the aspect of Fictional reality. This makes the movie torture Freddie in its fictitious realms made through the super saturation of all the past films. Freddie Krueger looks to drive into the real world and by doing so come out of the clutches where it seems he would be defeated by parallel forces.
Langenkamp finally defeats Krueger and blows him into a furnace where heat finally has him. New Nightmare grossed $1.8 million on the box office and still believed as one of the cult expression of its times.
