Freddie vs. Jason is the last of the Nightmare Series. This marks the end of Freddie’s dominance. Teenagers in Springwood fear him no more as he has grown old and his powers have ceased in entirety. Freddie impersonates Jason’s mother and asks Jason to create a panic situation in Springwood. Jason goes a step further and refuses to shy away from the killing spree.
This creates a battle situation between the two, fought simultaneously over the dream world and the real one. Freddie vs. Jason ends in a lot of vagueness as Jason comes out of the lake with a happy and laughing decapitated head of Freddie Krueger.
